1964-66 GMC Handi-Vans
1965 GMC Handi-Bus seen on eBay.
In 1964 GMC introduced the Handi-Van & Handi-Bus. It was powered by the 153 cid inline 4
cylinder engine that poduced 90 horsepower and 152 ft lbs of Torque. You could also get the
120 horsepower 194 cid inline 6 cylinder engine that put out 177 ft lbs of torque. In 1966 I
know that the 230 cid Inline six was offered with 140 horse power and 220 ft lbs of torque.
The Van came in two styles, the Handi-Van that was a panel van for use as a divilery truack,
and the Handi-Bus that was fitted with seats and windows for use as a passenger van. They also
offered this as a small School bus set up.
